Witton Albion midfielder Peter Heler to serve three-matches suspension


THE Football Association have handed Peter Heler a three-matches suspension as punishment for his dismissal against Carlton Town last week.

The midfielder was sent off for his sliding tackle on the Millers’ captain Grant Brindley in the UniBond League Division One South encounter.

Albion lost the match 3-0.

Heler’s early exit was the third red card shown to a Witton player in their past four league games.

His suspension starts this Saturday, March 20 when Gary Finley’s men travel to title favourites Mickleover Sports.

The 25-year-old former Burscough midfielder misses the home date with Brigg Town the following Tuesday then Albion’s trip to Belper Town.
