WITTON Albion’s much-changed side, now under the management of Scott Dundas, will start life at a lower level with a home game against Ossett Albion.
It could be a lucky omen, for the Northwich outfit beat the same opposition in a campaign curtain-raiser four years ago before they went on to be promoted from the Northern Premier League’s second tier.
Ossett visit Wincham Park on Saturday, August 15, kick off 3pm.
Witton complete August with away trips to Prescot Cables and Lancaster City, plus home encounters with Mossley and then tenants Northwich Victoria.
Albion play Vics in a league fixture for the first time since 1994 on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31.
A return game against Jim Gannon’s men, who reached the play-offs last season, is scheduled for December 28.
Meanwhile Warrington Town will provide the opposition on Boxing Day and Easter Monday, with the first meeting at Wincham Park.
