FANS can get a football fix during a quiz at Witton Albion tomorrow night, Thursday.
The questions will have a World Cup theme to coincide with next month’s competition, and entry for teams is free.
A prize for the winners is match-day hospitality, including a pre-match meal, drink and a ticket to watch the action, for four people to a home game at the start of next season.
The quiz, which starts at 8pm, marks the start of the club’s annual three-day beer and real ale festival.
It continues on Friday with the return of the popular monthly Roaring Laughter Comedy Club, this time headlined by Brendan Riley with Adam Rushton and Jenny Collier providing support.
Ste Porter is MC, and doors open at 7pm.
For tickets, £12 in advance, call 07515 265300.
Entry at the door on the night is £15.
The beer festival concludes on Saturday with a Northern Soul and Motown party, from 8pm.
Admission is £3.
