Witton Albion's scheduled visit to Runcorn Town in the Cheshire FA Senior Cup is rearranged for next week

WITTON will try again next week to play their Cheshire FA Senior Cup clash with Runcorn Town after tonight’s scheduled second round encounter was postponed.

Albion visit instead next Monday, January 21, kick off 7.45pm.

The North West Counties League Premier Division club’s Pavilions pitch was frozen when it was inspected after lunch on Wednesday.

Brian Pritchard’s men must wait a little longer to find out who will provide the opposition in the Doodson Sport Cup last 16 after Ashton United’s third round encounter with FC United of

Manchester, also due to be played tonight, was postponed.

Those two will now meet next Wednesday.

Albion are due next in action at home to Worksop Town this Saturday, kick off 3pm.
