Match pointers
WITTON boss Brian Pritchard has said he will make changes to the starting line-up when Premier Division rivals AFC Fylde arrive in town tonight, Tuesday.

Josh Hancock and Mathew Wood are both injury doubts, although Shaun Tuck is expected to return after sitting out Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Ilkeston.

Defensive duo Adam Clayton and Josh Glover, plus midfielder Jamie Harrison, should feature too along with recent attacking recruit Alex Meechan.

Albion fared well in the Doodson Sport Cup last term, bowing out at Kendal Town after conquering higher-ranked Stafford Rangers and Buxton in previous rounds.

Fylde, who had been due to host the tie until a fire caused damage to a changing room at Kellamergh Park, are unlikely to field a full strength side either.

The Coasters lost 2-1 against Witton on their own pitch in October, the same result as their visit to Wincham in the league last term.

Great win for Witton, I still have my betting slip, £10 at 40-1 to win the league so come on Witton, you can do it.
