Witton Albion paired with Runcorn Town in Cheshire FA Senior Cup second round

WITTON Albion will kick off their Cheshire FA Senior Cup campaign at lower-ranked Runcorn Town.

Brian Pritchard’s men were paired with the North West Counties League Premier Division club in the second round draw, made public earlier this week.

It is Runcorn’s reward for a five-goals mauling of Warrington Town on Tuesday.

Town boss Simon Burton is a former player at Wincham Park, as is central defender Tom Spearitt.
The tie will take place in the New Year, on a date still to be confirmed.
