Match pointers
WITTON host the Premier Division’s most out-of-sorts team hoping to extend a winning run to three matches for the first time this season in the league.

Brian Pritchard will be forced to make at least one change to the side that started Tuesday’s romp at Rushall as full back Mathew Wood serves a one-match ban.

His most likely replacement, Josh Glover, is out too with a groin strain to Albion’s boss will need a creative solution.

Teenager Adam Clayton did the job with assuredness in midweek, making his first appearance in senior football as part of the visitors’ four-goals success.

Ben Harrison (knee) is a doubt too, though Pritchard should have Paul Booth available again.

Visitors Grantham ended a run of eight successive defeats in all competitions in Tuesday’s goalless stalemate with Buxton, but have not won in the league since September 1.

That’s a run of 10 straight matches.

The Gingerbreads have scored fewest goals on the road this season – just four in six away games – although their defence has conceded fewest with six.

Goalkeeper Jimmy Lindley is available again after suspension, so challenges James Martin for a starting place.

Gio Carchedi (hamstring) is out with an injury though.
