Match pointers
WITTON manager Brian Pritchard has promised to make changes following Saturday’s surprise FA Trophy exit at home to Skelmersdale United.

He will also want to stop a sequence of back-to-back defeats on the road for Albion following reverses at North Ferriby United and Hednesford Town this month.

Steve Foster is likely to return in attack – he was cup tied at the weekend – leaving Shaun Tuck and top scorer Ashley Stott to fight for a place alongside him.

The Witton boss will wait until the latest possible moment to check on the health of Josh Glover (groin) and Ben Harrison (knee), leaving Paul Booth on stand-by.

Joe Shaw, named as part of an Albion squad for the first time at the weekend, is again likely to be among the alternatives from the bench for the visitors.

Witton have yet to keep a clean sheet on their travels this term to date.

Only Grantham have scored fewer points than hosts Rushall in the past half dozen Premier Division encounters, none of which have yielded maximum points for the Pics.

Their matches have yielded the least goals this season too, just 28 in total from 13 matches played.

Manager Neil Kitching will check on top scorer Dave Walker’s health after the front man limped out of Saturday’s FA Trophy success at neighbours Chasetown, but he is expected to recover from an ankle injury to play.

Attacker Ahmed Obeng (rib) is a long-term absentee.

The first goal will be important, for Rushall have lost every time they have gone behind so far this season.
