MIKE Moseley reached another goals marker as Witton recorded their biggest win of the season.
The front man came off the bench to net the fifth of the hosts’ six strikes – his 155th goal in red and white – to join John White as the Wincham Park outfit’s fourth top scorer since 1946.
He kept his cool to convert Albion’s third spot-kick of a bad-tempered encounter in which the visitors played the final half hour with 10 men.
By then though the contest was over.
Top scorer Steve Foster sent Witton on their way, cleverly flicking the ball past Goole custodian Craig Parry after Peter Heler had swapped passes with Ronnie Morgan.
Goole found the net soon afterwards, but Gavin Allott’s thumping header to be ruled out for offside. Gary Finley’s men were well on their way to a third successive league win on the stroke off half time when Carl Ruffer’s penalty punished Mick Goddard’s cynical foul on Ryan Broadhead.
The stopper waited three minutes while his colleague received treatment for a facial injury, but made no fuss of firing past Parry.
The visitors’ cause was not helped when former Northwich Victoria midfielder Terry Barwick was sent off following his assault on Brad Maylett early in the second half, ironically paving the way for the Vikings’ most prolonged period of pressure.
But normal service was resumed on 63 minutes when Morgan raced onto Paul Henry’s perfect assist before rounding Parry to score his third goal in as many matches.
Four minutes later Witton scored a fourth, Broadhead capping a fine afternoon’s work as Brian Pritchard’s stand-in when he headed home Jamie Tandy’s flag kick.
In between Carl Lamb had been fouled by Lee Stratford in the penalty area only for Ruffer to see his spot kick saved by Parry A handball earned Witton their third free hit from 12 yards in stoppage time, this time substitute Moseley taking over to score with ease.
There was still time left for number six, Ruffer netting from close range following another Tandy corner.
