Match pointers
WITTON seek a third successive win when they travel to play-offs hopefuls Worksop tomorrow, Saturday.
Brian Pritchard’s men were winners on Chorley’s pitch in midweek, repeating a 2-1 success over Blyth Spartans on the campaign’s opening day.
The Albion boss is unlikely to make a change to the team that started at Victory Park, with Matt Cross in line to play for the reserves as part of his recovery from a calf strain.
Midfield pair Steve Connors (calf) and Joe Shaw (ankle) is definitely out, while Chris Gahgan is unavailable.
Hosts Worksop recovered from a surprise defeat at Ashton United last weekend when they came from behind to beat North Ferriby United at Sandy Lane on Wednesday.
Manager Simon Clark has seen both of his attacking new recruits, Leon Mettam and Bruno Holden, hit the target in those games.
Full back Chris Shaw, forced off with an injury at Hurst Cross, was replaced by Sam Craven in midweek.
He will deputise again tomorrow if the ex-Hednesford man does not recover in time to play.
Matt Young, scorer of the winner against North Ferriby, is pushing for a recall in midfield.
