1874 NORTHWICH’S reward for reaching the Cheshire FA Senior Cup quarter finals is a first meeting with Nantwich Town.
The rivals were paired together in a draw for the last eight published on Monday.
Ian Street’s men, now the lowest-ranked side left in the competition, secured a spot at the next stage following a 2-0 win against Northwich Victoria last week.
They had already seen off Congleton Town in the preliminary round.
Witton Albion, who progressed following a 3-1 win at Barnton last Wednesday, will have to wait to discover their opponents.
However Carl Macauley’s men know they will have home advantage for a meeting with either Warrington or Tranmere Rovers.
Those two are scheduled to meet at Cantilever Park next week.
Stockport County, conquerors of Winsford United after extra time and a penalty shoot-out, will visit either Crewe Alexandra or Stalybridge Celtic.
The organisers have said the last-eight ties will provisionally be played on week commencing Monday, February 6.
