In-form Witton Albion resume their league campaign buoyed by a 5-2 victory against Brighouse in the FA Trophy last weekend.
They won at Newcastle when they most recently travelled for a Northern Premier League fixture, putting behind them the disappointment of losing in Division One South for the first time this season at Carlton.
Despite that, only leaders Spalding and Gresley have collected more points away from home to date.
Bedworth will feel better after eliminating Rugby from the FA Trophy following a midweek replay.
Numbers game
Bedworth have won only once in the league in front of their own supporters this term – a 4-2 defeat of Romulus last month.
However they have scored in every home game, and just one side – table-topping Spalding – has netted more often.
Witton can boast of having the best defensive record, along with Lincoln United, after keeping three clean sheets in their eight games so far.
Man to keep an eye on
Tom Owens
The midfield schemer capped another impressive display last Saturday with a superb goal, Witton’s fifth, in an FA Trophy success against former league rivals Brighouse.
It improves his tally to three for the campaign.
Able to operate out wide or in the centre, the ex-Marine man’s versatility has been obvious while others have been ruled out by injury or suspension.
Albion team news
Prince Haywood is available again after missing last week’s FA Trophy success against Brighouse through suspension, while captain Anthony Gardner is back from a holiday.
Billy Reeves plays the final game of an initial month-long loan stay from Port Vale, while fellow loanee George Miller should travel after missing last Saturday’s game through illness.
Midfielder Paul Williams (ankle) will be assessed before a decision is made on his involvement.
