WITTON Albion attempt to lift the Mid-Cheshire District FA Senior Cup for the first time since 2009 when they host 1874 Northwich in Monday’s final.
Their guests will make their debut in the showpiece following a 1-0 win against Barnton earlier this week.
The rivals have met once previously, at the semi-finals stage of last year’s edition, when Liam Goulding’s stoppage-time goal settled the outcome in Albion’s favour.
They had led 2-0 at half time.
Witton received a bye to the final after holders Northwich Victoria withdrew, claiming they could not fit the fixture into an already-busy schedule.
Officials have confirmed reduced entry to Wincham Park for the game, which will be played to a conclusion on the evening.
Adults pay £6 to watch, while entry is £4 for concessions and £1 for under 15s.
Kick off is at 7.45pm.
