Winnington Park rugby club hope to attract new young players

WINNINGTON Park are looking to add fresh faces to two of their junior teams in time for the start of the new season later this summer.

The Burrows Hill club needs players for its U15s and U13s squads, who return for pre-season practice next month.

“We have an excellent group of boys at U13s level with a very positive team spirit,” said coach Paul Almond.

“But they move up to 15-a-side matches for this year and we want to get a good squad ready for the start of the campaign.”

Meanwhile the older boys report back on Wednesday, July 15 at 7pm.
