WINNINGTON Park's thirds clinched the point they required to secure promotion in style on Saturday.
They ran in nine tries during convincing success against their Old Bedians counterparts at Burrows Hill, and finish as runners-up to Helsby in North West Intermediate League Division Five South.
Will Anderson touched down four times, while Kane Smith helped himself to a hat-trick of scores.
Tom Leech and Carl Bellis crossed the whitewash too in a 51-22 victory.
“It’s been a great season, and we can’t wait for the next one to start,” said team boss Clinton du Plessis.
Park’s seconds finish eighth in Division Two South, three points adrift of neighbours Northwich, following a slender 5-0 defeat away to Glossop.
