NORTHWICH Victoria hope to end a run of three successive draws on the road at Solihull Moors tomorrow, Saturday.

Andy Preece’s men were thwarted by Vauxhall Motors for a second time in midweek, becoming the only team in Blue Square North to fail to score against the relegation strugglers this term.

The Vics boss will have to shuffle his pack again this weekend with Jamie Vermiglio (hamstring) set to miss the rest of the season through injury.

Jonny Allan, a second half substitute on Tuesday, might make his first start since November. However his shortness of match practice may persuade Preece to pick Jon Newby.

Mike Aspin (groin) is a huge doubt too, although Wes Bancroft is expected to have shaken off the illness prevented him playing against Vauxhall.

Midfielder Ryan Broadhead is expected to travel too following his return from Witton Albion on Friday afternoon.

Hosts Solihull lost for the first time in six league meetings at Fleetwood Town last weekend.

Bob Faulkner’s men sit a single point behind Northwich in the revised Blue Square North standings following Farsley Celtic’s demise, although they have played one more match.

Ryan Amoo starts a three-matches ban following his dismissal at AFC Telford United earlier this month.

Newcomer Aaron Farrell, a recent arrival from Kidderminster Harriers via Worcester City, is expected to continue in the starting line-up.
