Oxton Ladies 3-0 Winnington Park Ladies
WINNINGTON Park continue to find the going tough in 2018 as they struggled to recover from a slow start last Saturday.
They trailed 3-0 by the break, and have now lost four of their five Cheshire Women’s League fixtures since the turn of the year.
The Northwich side created chances in the second-half, although Jaz Barlow was repeatedly thwarted by an in-form goalkeeper.
At the other end, Jane Turley and Kirsty Robinson marshalled a defence that was not breached again.
Winnington, who host Alderley Edge thirds this weekend, slip to fifth in the Division One standings as a result.

AN opposing defence shut out Winnington Park’s seconds for a second successive weekend, much to their frustration.
The hosts struggled to create chances at Moss Farm, where goalkeeper Sofi Waterer kept her side in the contest with a string of fine saves.
They stay second in the Division Four table, three points clear of Chester fourths who they visit next.
