Winnington Park Ladies 11-1 Rhyl & District Ladies
WINNINGTON Park prepared in the best possible way for a meeting with the league leaders this weekend – by recording their biggest victory of the campaign.
It means they travel to Alderley Edge seconds, currently six points clear in Cheshire Women’s League Division One, in high spirits.
In-form Jaz Barlow scored five times against depleted guests at Moss Farm, including a penalty stroke, while Ellie Capstick helped herself to a hat-trick.
Meanwhile Helen Moore, twice, and Jenny Young were also on target in a one-sided encounter that sends the hosts up to second in the standings.

NAT Ofoche scored a hat-trick to help Winnington’s seconds recover at the first attempt from a loss the previous week.
They continue to set the pace in Division Four as a result.
Eileen Miller netted a double, and Vicky Curran converted from a short-corner to complete the scoring.
Winnington had to reshuffle when Olivia Jones and Katie Beasley had to leave the pitch after sustaining injuries, but stand-in goalkeeper Coral Taylor kept out the hosts with a string of saves behind a defence marshalled expertly by Julia Harries.
