CASTLE D drew level with champions Gladstone C at the Northwich and District League’s summit following a 6-1 success against Nectar’s on Wednesday.
Both of the leading teams have started the campaign with six successive wins in Division One.
Eric Webber contributed a second maximum break of the season for Gladstone C in a 4-3 success against Castle C.
Third-placed Green Dragon A squeezed past Greenbank A thanks to Adam Hasneaui holding his nerve in a deciding frame.
Elsewhere, there were wins for Castle B and Gladstone B against Castle A and Gladstone A respectively.
Lion B lead a race for promotion to the top flight following a 5-2 success against neighbours Moulton Legion in Division Two.
Barn Owl B are five points adrift of the leaders after they lost at Greenbank C, allowing Witton Chimes A to earn a share of second spot after they won at Gladstone D.
Lion A beat their hosts Owley Wood, while Barn Owl E saw off Iron Bridge.
Barn Owl A did not have a game, but their lead at the top of Division Three is worth eight points after Witton Chimes A defeated clubmates Barn Owl H.
It was a good week for Blue Barrel after their B team recorded a 6-1 victory at home to Green Dragon B.
Meanwhile the A team were victors at Broken Cross.
Greenbank B registered a second win of the season, this time at fourth-placed Wheatsheaf.
