AMY Hinchly added another track title to her collection during the Northern Championships on Saturday.
The Vale Royal Athletics Club member edged out closest rival Sophie Tarver (Wirral AC) to take gold in the under 20s women’s 1,500m final at Sportcity in Manchester.
She timed 4.33.01 to win at the event for a second time.
The first was three years ago, when she finished first over the same distance in the under 17s girls’ category.
Hinchly, 18, also took home a silver medal as an under 15 back in 2011.
Clubmate Katie Gerrard was fourth, clocking 4.46.84, at the weekend.
