STUART Kellett whitewashed a former World Youth champion on his way to securing a spot at the German Darts Masters during a qualifier on Sunday.
The Northwich thrower recorded wins against Ryan Palmer (6-2) and Curtis Hammond (6-5) either side of a 6-0 defeat of youngster Keegan Brown at Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan.
His reward is a trip to Munich in March.
However the 34-year-old was denied double success after bowing out of a qualifier for the Dutch Darts Masters at the second-round stage earlier the same day.
He went down 6-4 against in-form Ross Smith, who had thrown a nine-darter at a Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) Qualifying School event in midweek, after easing past Prakash Jiwa (6-3).
Kellett, who starts 2016 ranked 54 on the PDC Order of Merit, turns his attention next to a series of six qualifiers for this year’s Coral UK Open.
The first three of those take place at Wigan in a fortnight.
