RAPTORS occupy first place in the Mid Cheshire Super League’s top flight following an 8-2 success against Cobras last Monday.
Ian Oakes was a victor in each of his three head-to-heads for the early table-toppers, while Neil Proudlove recorded two wins for their opponents.
Sparks proved too strong for Tigers, with Ray Worthington remaining unbeaten, while Team Hut were denied a draw by a Victoria side for whom Martin Thomson avoided defeat on the night.
Blades began their campaign in Division Two with a 7-3 victory against Valiants thanks to doubles from Adam Ryder, George Crouchley and Jake Styles.
Crusaders made a winning start, at Hawks’ expense, after Pete Rowlinson celebrated a hat-trick of wins.
Captain Dave Mairs led Rangers to a whitewash of Middlewich High School in Division Three.
Bears beat Vikings, with Andy Edwards winning all of his matches.
Kinetics lead the way following a 7-3 defeat of Falcons, making them the only side in the section to have recorded successive wins.
Martin Selby was their star turn.
