NORTHWICH Sapphires ended a three-match losing sequence in the Cheshire Elite League after putting in a stunning performance against Macclesfield Panthers.
A comprehensive 53-33 success on Saturday propels them above their rivals in the table going into a winter break.
It completed a winning week for Sapphires after the first team got one over on neighbours Knutsford in the Warrington and District Winter League's top flight.
Gemma Walton was picked as their star turn in a 46-24 success at Birchwood.
Meanwhile Northwich thirds improved their position in Division Two following a 32-26 victory against Saints seconds, inspired by Olivia Munro's player of the match display.
