They are tied for first place with Rudheath, who matched their rivals’ success against Castle Private B when beating Castle Private C by the same score.
The leading pair meet in the Team Knockout tonight, Wednesday, in the pick of the preliminary-round matches.
Simon Cross potted all eight balls in a single visit to the table for Green Dragon A, also for the second time this term, in a comfortable win against Castle Private A.
Elsewhere, Leigh Cobley won a deciding frame for Barn Owl D against Barn Owl C.
Nectar’s climbed to the Division Two table’s summit as a reward for coming from behind to beat Owley Wood.
Greenbank A are one points adrift in second spot after Paul Buckley contributed a maximum break to their win against Moulton Legion.
Promoted Barn Owl E are third after inflicting a sixth reverse on Barn Owl B, while The Lion A – who won their first four fixtures – have suffered back-to-back defeats after slipping up on their own table against Greenbank C.
Barn Owl A preserved their 100 per cent record in Division Three following a 5-2 win against Barn Owl H.
Bowling Green are four points further back after seeing off Blue Barrel B, while The Lion B extended a winning sequence to four matches against Witton Chimes B.
Salt Barge returning to winning ways at Greenbank B’s expense after successive losses, but Blue Barrel A were the section’s most convincing victors at Green Dragon B.
