John Lewis’ maximum for Castle Private B helped them to third in the table as a reward for beating Gladstone A.

The Lion A lead the way in Division Two after winning all seven frames against visitors Witton Chimes A.

Improving Nectar’s occupy second spot, three points further back, after recording a third successive win.

Nigel Massey won a deciding frame for Greenbank A in a close encounter with Owley Wood, while Moulton Legion recovered from losing the first two frames to win at Barn Owl B.

Captain Mike Johns held his nerve to clinch victory for his Greenbank C side against promoted Barn Owl E.

Barn Owl A remain unbeaten in Division Three, a slender success at Greenbank B leaving them a point clear of closest rivals Witton Chimes B.

Barn Owl H ended their wait for a first win at Blue Barrel’s expense, while Bowling Green put last week’s defeat behind them to see off Salt Barge.

And the Lion B’s recovery continues; they thrashed back-markers Blue Barrel B.
