Rudheath, boosted by Ste Roberts’ maximum, lead the way following a 5-2 success at Castle Private B.
Adam Griffiths potted all eight balls in a single visit to the table during Gladstone C’s win against Gladstone A, but they trail Gladstone B – conquerors of Barn Owl C – in the standings.
Jack Carroll also cleared up for Castle Private A, but it was not enough to prevent a narrow defeat at home to Barn Owl D.
Owley Wood occupy top spot in Division Two after coming from 3-1 down to win at Barn Owl B.
Skipper Danny Lloyd held his nerve to win a decider against his opposite number.
Lion A also made it back-to-back wins, this week beating promoted Barn Owl E.
Iron Bridge also edged a final-frame decider, Nick Hamilton remaining calm to inflict a surprise defeat on title hopefuls Greenbank A.
Elsewhere, there were wins for Greenbank C and Nectar’s against Moulton Legion and Witton Chimes A respectively.
In Division Three, Bowling Green and Witton Chimes B have identical records after two rounds.
The former saw off Lion B, pre-season favourites for first place, while Chimes won at Barn Owl H.
Mark Taylor won a decisive frame for Greenbank B against Blue Barrel A, while Blue Barrel B succumbed to Green Dragon B.
Salt Barge missed out at home to fast-starting Barn Owl A in the other match.
