Winnington Avenue 1994 still on track
BUBA Drammeh scored the only goal on Saturday to keep Winnington Avenue 1994 on course to claim top spot in the Crewe and District League.
He increased his tally for the season to 29 by striking decisively against clubmates Winnington Avenue.
It leaves his side five points adrift of leaders Barnton Wanderers, who have completed their fixtures, with three matches of the season to play.
Winnington travel this weekend to Crewe FC Reserves, who they defeated 3-0 at the Jubilee Field at the end of February.
Winnington Avenue, still without a league victory, are guaranteed to finish bottom following Mary Dendy’s victory at Tarporley.
