JAMES Risk claimed first prize in Weaver Valley Cycling Club’s annual 10-mile time trial, clocking a quick time of 22:51.
Veteran Dave Fearon was next best behind the promising junior with 23:32, with newcomer Geoff Mullett placing third in 24:11.
In the latest Manchester and District Ladies’ Cycling Association 25, Caroline Fearon completed the course in 1:12.43 in a race won by Joanne Blakeley (GB Cycles.co.uk) in 59:14.
Andy Wood timed 1:01.59 in Nova Cycling Club’s 25 the same day, with victor James Radcliffe (Fred Williams Racing) finishing in 52:38.
