SWIMMING: Grange success
GRANGE School emerged as victors from Saturday’s Jack Denton Memorial Gala at Moss Farm, edging St Mary’s RC Primary School, from Middlewich, into second spot.
Hartford placed third overall, narrowly ahead of neighbours Hartford Manor, in a 10-school competition.
Hosted by Northwich Amateur Swimming Club, the annual event includes individual and relay races.
“The gala is part of our commitment to grassroots sport, ensuring children from the community can enjoy competitive swimming,” said Brian Dooley, vice chairman at Northwich.
