PARK'S home campaign ended in another defeat but they battled all the way against New Brighton.
The visitors' size, strength and power told in a convincing victory although Park skipper Mark Patterson took heart from another plucky performance by his young team.
"The effort and commitment was there for all to see," he said.

"We scored almost as many points as they did in the second half which for me tells a truer story of the contest."
New Brighton ran in five unanswered tries in the first half when Stephen Dean was successful with all the conversions.
Repeated ball was turned over from the Park side, which made for a frustrating first half in difficult playing conditions given the recent rain. After the break it was a different story.
It was fitting that the hosts' best player, Ryan McKibbin, got Park's first points with a superb solo try.
Picking up from the scrum, he powered his way past three defenders to touch down.
Winger Tim Charlton added another when he finished a flowing five-man move, taking two New Brighton players over the line with him to score.
Park: Sullivan, Robbins, Burgess, Carl Patterson, Stubbs, McKibbin, Richardson, Cross, Barton, Welch, Evans, Mark Patterson, Hewitt, Charlton, Archer
Replacements: Warr, Sant, Armstrong
Tries: Ryan McKibbin, Tim Charlton Conversions: Nathan Archer (2)
