SAM Naylor saved praise for Sandbach after they beat Northwich to win the Cheshire RFU Vase.
Blacks' chairman admitted they had lacked the quality to open up their opponent's stubborn defence following their 10-7 defeat on Bank Holiday Monday.
"We dominated," he said.

"But we just didn't seem to be able to finish things, be it with a final pass or clever piece of movement.
"I thought they defended like trojans though and sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and admit the other team played a great match."
A bumper crowd turned out at Burrows Hill to watch the match.
The south Cheshire side opened the scoring with a converted try that was cancelled out by Graham Robinson's touch down on the half hour, converted by Stacey Hosking.
Will Cargill's penalty separated the two teams after that and Sandbach hung on for victory.
