Four victories in five matches have failed to shake off relegation rivals Vale of Lune, meaning Blacks must beat Leigh to stay in North Two West.
Relying on favours elsewhere would be folly.
It looked like Lymm had doomed the Cumbrians to the drop at the weekend only for a last minute try to turn the tables and take the battle to the season's final game.
"We have to keep winning," said chairman Sam Naylor.
"Fate is in our hands and we know the only way to be sure of staying up is to extend our winning run."

Rout
A repeat of Saturday's rout of Rochdale would be just the job.
Paul Reid's men took the Lancastrians apart in the first half to take an unassailable 15-0 lead into the interval.
Stacey Hosking, the hero against neighbours Winnington Park a fortnight ago, converted from the touchline to cap his fourth minute blind side try.
Ten minutes later he kicked his only penalty of the encounter to secure a 10-point margin.
Blacks' forwards than took advantage when Rochdale prop Redman was despatched to the sin bin for handling in the ruck near his own try line.
The hosts decided to take a scrum and from the resulting play wing forward Peter Pattenden forced his way over the line. For once Hosking failed with his conversion attempt.
The outcome was sealed soon after the restart when, following a Northwich scrum, stand off Richard Dale cut through the opposition's defence to score near the posts.
Hosking completed kicking duty and at 22-0 there was no way back for Rochdale.
Northwich lost their shape in the closing stages and, although Reid brought on all three replacements, the visitors made a fight of it and deserved Phil Cowburn's late consolation touch down.
