LOSTOCK Gralam secured their Cheshire League place with a final day victory.

They had to come from behind to do it though, Daten hitting the front through Evans' superb free kick.

Lostock struggled to find any fluency in the opening half hour but slowly found their way back into the game with James Birdsey firing over from the edge of the box and Mike Astbury testing the keeper with a low drive.

With half time approaching, Worral played a superb ball into the left channel to pick out Henderson's run and he cut in to fire past the keeper to level the score.

With a draw leaving their fate in the hands of others Lostock poured forward in search of a winning goal.

Latham and Henderson were linked well down the right and combined to pick out Chris Crawford but he blazed his volley over the bar in acres of space.

It was down to Anton Palmer to pick up the plaudits again as he scored the winning goal on 70 minutes.

The midfielder broke forward to latch onto Henderson's lay off and side foot home from the edge of the area.

Lostock: German (GK), Barlow, Worral, Keller, Baldini, Birdsey, Palmer, Latham, Crawford, Henderson, Astbury
Subs: Millington, Speight
