FC UNITED of Manchester Reserves' title hopes suffered another blow as they lost 3-1 at home to Billinge in midweek.

Phil Dixon bagged a hat-trick to secure his side's hold on second place.

Club AZ's chances of promotion were also dented as they lost 2-1 to Broadheath Central and then 3-1 at Tarporley Victoria in the space of seven days.

Billinge now sit ten points behind the pacesetters with three games in hand.

Club AZ are third, 12 points adrift fo FC United with four to play.

Warrington Town Reserves sneaked a 3-2 winner over Monk FC on Tuesday night after being 2-1 down with ten minutes to go.

At the other end of the table Lostock Gralam lifted themselves out of the bottom two.

They picked up four points this week after a 4-2 success over Monk and a 1-1 draw against Crewe.

Malpas sneaked a 1-0 win over Congleton Town Reserves which sees them climb into 12th spot, while Eagle Sports beat Daten 1-0.
