FC UNITED Reserves extended their lead to 15 points at the top of the table as they beat Warrington Town Reserves.

Renee Mike and Dominic Stockdale put the home side 2-0 up before Owen pulled one back for Warrington shortly before the break.

The visitors were then reduced to 10 men before Rothwell put the game beyond Warrington with United's third.

A second half goal from Mike Richardson and an own goal saw Billinge beat Congleton Town Reserves to strengthen their hold on third spot.

Maine Road Reserves moved up to fourth as goals from Damon Clynes, Dan Clare, Tom Walsh and James Woods helped them to a comfortable 4-0 win over Crewe, while Eagle Sports smashed five past Monk.

Steve Waywell put Golborne ahead in the first minute of their game with Malpas and, when the home side equalised, they thought they had rescued a point.

But Peter Connelly popped up to make it 2-1 in the closing stages.

Whitchurch Alport held second place Club AZ to a goalless draw, while Daten beat Grappenhall Sports.

Lostock Gralam climbed out of the bottom two as they celebrated an impressive 4-1 victory over Broadheath Central.

Ant Palmer put Lostock ahead on the quarter hour before Ryan Millington doubled their lead two minutes later from a free kick.

Millington sent another free kick goal bound in the 58th minute before completing his treble on the hour.
