MIDDLEWICH Town came from behind twice to beat Poynton in their rearranged quarter final tie.

They won 3-2, scoring their winner just three minutes from time.

A flick on at the near post from Dave Morgan helped leading goalscorer Stuart Wellstead fire Crosfields in front in their quarter final tie at Woodley after 25 minutes before a defensive error allowed their opponents to level the score.

Crosfields pushed for a winner and they were rewarded when Wellstead smashed home from 20 yards before chipping the Woodley keeper for his hat trick to make it 3-1.
