NORTHWICH team Chevron Racing continued their preparations for a debut term in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship on Tuesday.
The Antrobus-based outfit’s driver duo – former British Touring Car Championship favourite Anthony Reid and rising star Jordan Witt – tested its 2011-spec GR8 during the series’ media day at Silverstone.
They will compete in the championship’s GT Cup class along with a modified Ginetta G50 piloted by Swedish brothers Bjorn and Anders Gustavson.
The British GT season starts at Chevron’s home circuit, Oulton Park, on April 25 with two hour-long races.
