TAXPAYERS can comment on a draft masterplan for Moss Farm from this week.
Vale Royal Borough Council has spent £6,000 on sketches for the Northwich sports complex drawn up by Lymm based consultants CB3 Design.
"We need to know people's views," said the council's leisure chief Chris Bottomley.
The Guardian has seen a draft, which includes a new, purpose built social club, although plans for a stadium have been scrapped after Witton Albion pulled out of a switch from Wincham.
Sports clubs and users can inspect a site plan in the swimming pool reception.
The council also plans to host a forum for residents to ask questions about the redevelopment next month.
Mr Bottomley must report back to members of Hartford Moss Farm Joint Management Committee with a final masterplan in June.
He plans to meet representatives of all the user groups before then.
"Some changes may be made based on feedback from the consultation," he said.
At this stage the borough council, which co-manages the site with Cheshire County Council, cannot say how much a new social club could cost, nor has it committed any cash to spend on capital projects at Moss Farm before local government reorganisation in 2009.
An initial wishlist ran to more than £10 million, but the bulk of any funding would need to come from external sources.
