Tuesday, May 13

ANOTHER tricky day's racing in store (and the probable raft of non-runners continuously dribbling in throughout proceedings is hardly helpful to punters!) and I'm off to that notoriously tricky' venue, Brighton for today's nap nomination, which runs in the second race on the card at 2.40.

Michael Wigham's Baytown Blaze has never tackled the south coast track and also has top weight and, probably, the worst of the draw to contend with. But the 3-year-old's pilot, Chris Cattlin rides Brighton as well as anyone and the pair are fancied to blaze a trail this afternoon.

Selections

Brighton: 2.40 Baytown Blaze (nap) 3.10 Razzano

Southwell: 2.20 Silver Spruce 3.20 Hereford Boy

Yarmouth: 3.30 Black Moma

Great Leighs: 6.50 Boz

Newton Abbot: 6.40 Kofi
