ANOTHER fascinating day's racing in store at York, although it has to be said, it looks like one to watch rather than one to get too heavily involved in. However, it will be interesting to see if the formerly smart New Seeker can bounce back to form in the 3.10.
Wednesday, May 14
YORK stages today's feature card with some cracking racing in store at the Knavesmire, including acknowledged Oaks trial, the Musidora Stakes at 2.40, in which classy fillies from the powerful yards of John Gosden, Aidan O'Brien, Jim Bolger, Sir Michael Stoute and Barry Hills line up.
Tuesday, May 13
ANOTHER tricky day's racing in store (and the probable raft of non-runners continuously dribbling in throughout proceedings is hardly helpful to punters!) and I'm off to that notoriously tricky' venue, Brighton for today's nap nomination, which runs in the second race on the card at 2.40.
Monday, May 12
A FAIRLY busy Monday programme with three cards this afternoon at Wolverhampton, Redcar and Yarmouth and evening programmes at Windsor and Towcester.
Saturday, May 10th
YESTERDAY'S nap, Extraterrestrial was a most unlucky loser. The 9/2 shot was twice halted when making a move before finally getting a run and just failing by a neck to overhaul the eventual winner, Celtic Sultan who had the run of the race.
Friday, May 9th
THE Dee Stakes (2.15) and the Ormonde Stakes (2.45) are the feature races at Chester this afternoon and although neither appeals as a great betting medium I do have a sneaky fancy for Henry Cecil's Unnnefer in the former.
Tuesday, May 6th
MAGIC Echo was an impressive course-and-distance winner at Southwell last time out and the 4-year-old can defy a 6lb penalty to repeat the dose today and land the nap.
Monday, May 5th
WE had three winners from six selections on Saturday, including a nice 7/1 shot in Geojimali, so let's hope we can keep up the good work this week.
