NORTHWICH Victoria can look forward to a derby duel with Witton Albion during the first month of the new season.
They will meet their landlords on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31.
The two clubs have not met for a league fixture since a 1-1 draw in the Football Conference on Easter Monday back in 1994.
Before that Jim Gannon’s side, beaten in the play-offs semi finals last term after finishing in fourth place, start the campaign away to Ossett Town.
A first home game at Wincham Park, where they will host opponents for the next three seasons according to the terms of a ground-share announced in February, follows against New Mills on Wednesday, August 19.
Bamber Bridge, Vics’ conquerors after extra time in that semi-final clash, visit after that before a midweek trip to Radcliffe.
On Boxing Day and Easter Monday, they have been paired with Trafford – relegated from the Premier Division last term – while the return match against Albion is scheduled for December 28.
Vics take on Spennymoor, who finished one place behind them last season, on December 12 in the north east.
The Moors travel in the opposite direction for the penultimate fixture of the campaign in April.
