LOSTOCK were left to rue not taking their chances after succumbing to Golborne on Saturday.
Kieron Eaves put the hosts in front before the break after James Welsh and Paul Richardson had gone close for the Grey Lambs, while the latter also had a goal ruled out for offside.
He blazed high too early in the second period before Connor Hooks teed up Jack Baker to curl in a deserved leveller.
However they could not hold on for a draw, and substitute Connor Wild steered past goalkeeper Jason Currie to settle the outcome in his side’s favour with time running out.
