RUDHEATH shocked Premier Division title-hopefuls Knutsford on Saturday, when they recorded a first Cheshire League win since early September.

The visitors might have taken the lead before the break at Manchester Road were it not for wasteful finishing, but they made amends in the second half.

After Reds’ goalkeeper John Stanway was sent off for handling outside his penalty area, Craig Millington opened the scoring.

He doubled the visitors’ lead a quarter of an hour later, then Dan Stockton netted in added time.
