CUDDINGTON moved into a seven-points lead at the top of the table after a crushing win on the ground of neighbours Winnington, writes Mike Talbot-Butler.
Olly James scored twice for the men from Norley Road, with one goal apiece from Jim Alley, Sean Cain, Simon Smith, Jonny Stone and Chris Bettley completing the rout.
Shaun Hughes (2) and Sam Didsbury replied for Avenue.
Elsewhere Lostock Gralam reserves eked out a narrow 4-3 win at Sandbach Town, while Barnton Wanderers put up a stiff fight before losing by the same score at second-placed Tarporley Victoria reserves.
The Barnton marksmen were Callum Sayle (2) and Eamon Byrne.
