LEADERS Cuddington resumed where they left off before the festive break by thrashing Barnton Wanderers on Saturday, writes Mike Talbot-Butler.

Jonny Stone, twice, Andy Pickering, Jonny Sharrock, Mike Abbott and Sean Came were on target in their six-goals success at Norley Road.

Elsewhere reigning champions MMU Cheshire A lost their first game of the term against 2009 champions Curshaws.

In the Mid-Cheshire FA Challenge Cup, Winnington Avenue recorded a maiden win of the current campaign when they sent out Barnton Wanderers reserves at Moss Farm.
