NORTHWICH Villa twice lost the lead against ten-man Styal on their way to a first league defeat of the season so far.

Ex-Vics first team fringe man Rico Richards scored from the penalty spot to put the hosts ahead after a defender had handled in the box.

The visitors were then reduced to ten men when Karl Healy was felled when he was clear on goal.

Styal restored parity direct from a set piece only for Villa substitute Hargreaves put his team back in front at the start of the second half after latching on to Gareth Grant’s assist.

Keeper Lee Whatmough then kicked straight to a Styal player who found the net to make it 2-2 and the away team pinched the points with a winning goal 12 minutes from time.
