WINSFORD’S remaining representatives in the Cheshire FA Sunday Cup are both on their travels this weekend.
St Joseph’s take on Houlihans Birkenhead Sunday League outfit Heygarth in the fourth round, the same stage they reached two seasons ago before bowing out against eventual winners Queen’s Park.
Meanwhile WCC Wanderers hope to finally play their four-times postponed third round clash at Poulton Royal the same day.
Whitegate-based Plough host fellow Premier Division team Rudheath Social Club in the last eight of the Mid-Cheshire Sunday League Cup.
Saxons will hope to take advantage of Plough’s cup distraction when they host strugglers Pockets at Knights Grange in the Premier Division.
Victory would strengthen their hold on third place considerably, although their rivals have matches in hand.
Fern Villa will be desperate to move away from the Division One drop zone by beating Forest Road, while Woodford head to promotion hopefuls Cuddington.
In Division Two Top House could take over from leaders Broadhurst at the top if they win away at George & Dragon.
