NEWCOMERS Barnton Reserves went to the top of the table after defeating reigning champions Curshaws at Town Field with goals from Mike Clarke (2) and Stuart Locke.
Elsewhere Lostock Gralam’s second string lost 5-1 at Sandbach United and continue to languish in the bottom three.
