WITTON Albion will be without two of their most experienced players for a trip to Lincoln United in the Northern Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Leading scorer Rob Hopley completes a three-match suspension, while midfielder Paul Williams serves a ban too as punishment for his dismissal in a 3-1 win against Gresley last weekend.

His place is likely to be taken by Prince Haywood, who was unavailable for that game.

Manager Carl Macauley rested the majority of his regulars for a Cheshire FA Senior Cup first-round encounter with Barnton in midweek.

Jamie Hinchliffe, twice, and James Sloane – a recent recruit from AFC Fylde – were on target in a 3-1 victory.

The Albion boss will check on the fitness of defenders Scott Lycett (calf) and Ryan Hickman (groin) before selecting his side to face opponents hammered 6-0 by Division One South leaders Shaw Lane in midweek.
