Why should I watch..?
The only teams with an unblemished record in the Northern Premier League’s Division One South meet at Coles Lane, where something has to give.
Albion are buoyed by beating Premier Division leaders Buxton comfortably in the FA Cup last weekend, while Romulus took Hereford to a replay following a 1-1 draw.
Both managers will be looking for proof that their start to the campaign is no flash in the pan.
Numbers game
Witton, after six successive wins in league and cup, are enjoying their best start to a season since 1953.
Romulus have won all four Division One South games to date, including three on the road.
Man to keep an eye on
Tom Owens
The Albion midfielder is enjoying the freedom given to him in Carl Macauley’s formation this season. Able to trade positions with Brad Bauress and Karl Noon, he consistently found space from which to pose Buxton’s defence problems during Witton’s FA cup win last weekend.
The ex-Marine man was also rewarded with a crucial goal in the moments before half time.
Albion team news
Goalkeeper Danny Roberts is available again after missing last weekend’s FA Cup victory against Buxton.
Paul Williams (groin) is out with injury, as is long-term absentee Cameron Dalton (leg).
Midfielder Brad Bauress has commitments elsewhere.
